Penny Gage

Penny Gage is Chief Policy and Partnerships at Launch Alaska, overseeing the Tech Deployment Track, an accelerator program to help energy, transportation and industry companies from across the world and locally to deploy their technologies in Alaska. She also leads the organization's policy and advocacy work to advance energy innovation in Alaska.

Penny grew up in Pelican and Sitka, Alaska, and has family across the state. She is Tlingit Alaska Native from the Raven Dog Salmon clan. She has a BA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Nicaragua.

Penny brings a diverse background in economic development, entrepreneur support and training, federal and state government, the nonprofit sector, energy policy, and international affairs. She also serves on The Nature Conservancy Alaska Board of Trustees. Penny lives in Anchorage with her husband and two young children.
